Top DVD Movie Releases For April 24, 2007
It’s a pretty big DVD week for shoppers. Here are the top three DVD movie releases for this week and reviews of them from the Epinions.com community.
Déjà Vu
Denzel Washington and producer Jerry Bruckheimer team up in this action suspense film. Washington stars as an ATF agent who uses time travel to try and save a woman and prevent a terrorist attack. Directed by Tony Scott and also starring Paula Patton, the DVD release also features a behind the scenes look at the movie as well as deleted and extended scenes.
The Queen
Helen Mirren’s role as Queen Elizabeth II won her an Academy Award for Best Actress. The movie looks at Queen Elizabeth’s relationship with Prime Minister Tony Blair (Michael Sheen) in the wake of the death of Princess Diana. The DVD features a documentary that looks at the making of the film as well as commentary by director Stephen Frears and writer Peter Morgan.

Night At The Museum
This Ben Stiller blockbuster grossed nearly $250 million in the theaters during the holidays. This DVD release comes in a widescreen, full screen, and special 2-disc edition. Inspired by the 1993 children’s book by Milan Trenc, Ben Stiller’s character Larry meets CGI representations of Teddy Roosevelt, Attila the Hun, and others.
