Top DVD Movie Releases For January 29, 2008

Three new movies who didn’t find their audience in the theaters will try to find their audience on video. They lead the new releases this week. Here are the top DVD movie releases for this week and the reviews of the films from the Epinions.com community.

The Invasion

Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig star in this extra terrestrial film. The film surrounds alien life forms who interrogate the human race, attacking them while they’re sleeping. They are left physically unchanged, but are definitely affected and it’s very difficult to notice who has been invaded and who hasn’t. The release comes out on both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray.

Daddy Day Camp

This is the sequel to Daddy Day Care but instead of Eddie Murphy as the star, Cuba Gooding Jr. fits the bill. The daddies take their day care to a camp and they have to deal with the bullies of a competing camp.

The Comebacks

Maybe the most noteworthy thing about this spoof is that Carl Weathers, Apollo Creed from Rocky fame, is in it. It has a football theme and makes fun of many sports movies including Rocky Balboa and Remember The Titans.
