Ocean’s Thirteen

Steven Soderbergh got the band back together. Again. And this time, Al Pacino joins the fun. After double crossing Danny Ocean’s (George Clooney) mentor (Elliot Gould), Pacino’s Willy Bank is the focus of the new heist. And they’re not only going after the money. They’re going after his pride. Also starring Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia, Ellen Barkin, and Casey Affleck, the second sequel to the original Ocean’s Eleven earned over $117 million at the box office.

Shrek The Third

It’s the third film in the Shrek series, and this time, Shrek has to find the rightful heir to the throne in the land of Far, Far Away. The regulars are back including Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, and Antonio Banderas, and Justin Timberlake joins them for this one.

In this three-qual, Spider-Man has to face three baddies before it’s all said and done. This time, it’s Sandman, Venom, and the New Goblin. Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst reprise their roles as Peter Parker and Mary Jane, while Thomas Hayden Church and Topher Grace join the fray. Directed by Sam Raimi, it earned a whopping $336 million at the box office.

28 Weeks Later

Directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, 28 Weeks Later is the sequel to the horror film 28 Days Later. The film comes 5 years after the original film which was directed by Danny Boyle, who couldn’t direct the sequel because of a prior commitment. The film follows the first, which was based on a virus called “The Rage” that made people mindlessly violent. In the sequel, the US Army declares that the war against the virus has been won, but they are wrong, and it’s deadlier than ever.

Reign Over Me

Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle partner up in this 2007 drama. Sandler plays the widowed Charlie Fineman, who along with losing his wife, also loses his kids during the September 11, 2001 attacks. Cheadle plays an old friend who tries to help him cheer up, to no avail, but also sees through Fineman, that his perfect life isn’t so perfect.
