Top DVD Movie Releases For September 4, 2007

There are only two wide releases out today. One stars Jane Fonda and Lindsay Lohan (yes, this movie was made) and the other stars none other than Larry the Cable Guy. Here are the top DVD movie releases for this week and the reviews of the films from the Epinions.com community.

Delta Farce

Larry the Cable Guy stars in this comedy picture which obviously gets its name from the term “Delta Force”. Larry and his friends are mistaken for Army Reservists and are dumped in Mexico, but think they are being taken to Iraq. I’m not sure what else can be said about this movie, but hey, it sold $8 million worth of tickets.

Georgia Rule

I’m not sure if this is art imitating life, but Lindsay Lohan (Rachel) plays an out of control young woman living in the Bay Area, who is sent to her grandmother’s farm in Idaho. Fonda’s character makes Rachel live within her rule and during this time, the two women bond, and Rachel bonds with her mother as well, played by Felicity Huffman. Garry Marshall directs the film which was released in theaters in May of this year.
