28 Weeks Later

Directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, 28 Weeks Later is the sequel to the horror film 28 Days Later. The film comes 5 years after the original film which was directed by Danny Boyle, who couldn’t direct the sequel because of a prior commitment. The film follows the first, which was based on a virus called “The Rage” that made people mindlessly violent. In the sequel, the US Army declares that the war against the virus has been won, but they are wrong, and it’s deadlier than ever.

The turtles are back in CGI. Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael roam the streets of New York City again in this Kevin Munroe directed picture. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Patrick Stewart voice April O’Neil and Maximillian J. Winters. The film did $54 million in US box office in it’s theatrical run.
